Each Spring, Pro-Life Aggies hosts a 5K to raise money for our Pregnant & Parenting Student Scholarship fund. This event is open to all A&M students as well as families, friends, and anyone who wants to support a wonderful cause!
Tabling on Campus (multiple times per month)
Pro-Life Aggies sets up displays in Rudder Plaza or the MSC that prompt students to think about life-related issues. The purpose of tabling is to engage in fruitful conversations with students. Even if we are not successful in changing every heart that opposes our pro-life work, we can be sure to plant a seed in each person's mind about issues like abortion, euthanasia, IVF, etc.
Cemetery of the Innocents, Fall 2013, 2014, Spring 2016
Our group sets up a display of roughly 1,500 crosses in the grass for 12 hours to represent the 3,000 children who lose their lives to abortion each day in the United States. It is an incredibly powerful display and effectively shows students and faculty the vast effects of abortion on our nation.
Rally for Life / Boots on the Ground Conference
Each January, a Rally for Life is held in Austin on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision. Thousands of Texans gather to march in remembrance of all the lives lost to abortion in our nation, and Pro-Life Aggies joins them. We also attend the Boots on the Ground Conference held by Texas Right to Life where we get to hear a variety of pro-life speakers and meet other pro-life college students from around Texas!
Planned Parenthood Project, Fall 2015
Students for Life of America brought a display consisting of over 800 crosses, each representing one abortion performed by Planned Parenthood in the U.S. daily, as well as large banners with facts about the abortion giant. It was a great way to educate students!
We enjoy showing our school spirit and cheering on the Aggies by hosting a tailgate or two each fall!
